50mm F1.4D NIKON AF (52) AUTO FOCUS STANDARD ANGLE LENS

F1.4 aperture for this price.. what can we say? The 50mm F1.4 is definitely the cheapest and of course value for money prime lens around, a 35mm F1.4 or 85mm F1.4 would definitely cos 3-4 times more. Unless you have a similar focal length like like the 50mm F1.8 already, then the 50F1.4 is definitely one must have lens in the photographer's bag. Versatile enough to do anything from low light shooting to portraits, throw in a close up filter or extension tube, you immediately have a very good macro lens. 

Do note however, that this model is the latest before the current AFS one, and already discontinued. Optically there are practically no difference at all, but this AFD one will not be able to AF on camera models such as D60/D3000/D5000 that requires lens with built in motor to AF. Thus if your camera isn't one of these then the AFD will definitely bring you good savings. 

The AFD 50mm F1.4 gives very nice thin depth of field shots with lots of bokeh to play with at F1.4, by F2.0, you can expect razor sharp high resolution image quality.
